Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor, who had a key interception and four passes defensed against the Seattle Seahawks Sunday, was named today the NFL defensive player of the week.

Taylor had five tackles against the Seahawks, but his interception near the goalline at the end of the first half helped the Steelers post their first-ever shutout at Heinz Field.
